As part of UFHCC’s Research Administration Office the Scientific Writer will provide high-quality and timely scientific writing support to faculty and administrative personnel within the Cancer Center in pursuit of NCI designation and the submission of our Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG). The incumbent is responsible for participating as a key contributor in document development and control for the CCSG application; ensuring that all presented information is accurate and written in accordance with applicable funding institute requirements, policy, and instructions. The Scientific Writer will also be responsible for development of document templates including standard language to facilitate multiple submissions of similar documents; graphical design to visually represent scientific findings; writing assigned components of documents; editing for grammar, readability, clarity, consistency, and conformance with any applicable requirements; and, management of the document development and delivery process.
$68,000 - $84,000 annual salary; commensurate with education and experience.
