Mission of the AACI CRI
The CRI will collect, evaluate and share best practices that promote the efficient and effective operation of cancer clinical research offices and will interact with key stakeholders to inform policy decisions and advocate for improvement in the national clinical trials enterprise.
Charge to the Steering Committee
The CRI Steering Committee will help to guide and implement the activities of the CRI that lead to the dissemination of proven means of effectiveness and best practice models across the AACI cancer center clinical trials offices.
Objectives of the AACI CRI Steering Committee
A. Establish the goals for CRI and determine metrics to assure goals are achieved.
B. Develop policies and procedures deemed necessary for the CRI.
C. Set agendas and schedules for the CRI meetings, forums, workshops, and CRI special interest groups (SIGs).
D. Establish metrics to monitor the progress of CRI SIGs.
E. Review relevant committee reports and make recommendations for improvements.
