AACI Welcomes New Members to PCLI and CTI Steering Committees

In 2025, the AACI Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative (PCLI) will welcome two newly-elected steering committee members and the AACI Cellular Therapy Initiative (CTI) will welcome three. The new members’ terms begin on January 1.

Joining PCLI are Bhavana Bhatnagar, DO, director of Hematology and Medical Oncology, West Virginia University Cancer Institute; and Rachna Shroff, MD, MS, FASCO, director, clinical trials office, and director, Arizona Clinical Trials Network, the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

Joining CTI are Michael E. Hurwitz, MD, PhD, associate professor of medicine, Yale Cancer Center; Barbara Ma, MD, MS, director of Cellular Therapy for Solid Tumors and Phase 1 director, Sandra and Edward Meyer Cancer Center at Weill Cornell Medicine; and Erin Winters, BSN, RN, BMTCN, senior research project director, The University of Kansas Cancer Center.

AACI thanks the following outgoing steering committee members for their time and commitment.

  • Adekunle Odunsi, MD, PhD, FRCOG, FACOG, The University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • Joseph Uberti, MD, PhD, Karmanos Cancer Institute, Wayne State University

Both programs pursue a variety of objectives, including quarterly webinars, supporting cancer service line leaders, assessing academic time policies, and providing community oncology education.
