Nominations are now being accepted for the 2021 AACI Cancer Health Equity Award. The award was created to recognize an individual or group who demonstrates exceptional leadership in promoting health equity, mitigating cancer disparities, and advocating for diversity and inclusion at their cancer center. The nomination period will close on Friday, May 28.
Nominees must show a strong commitment to health equity, diversity, and inclusion through cancer center programming and initiatives, outreach, education, or other activities. They must also demonstrate a measurable impact in their cancer center's catchment area.
The recipient of the AACI Cancer Health Equity Award will be selected by the AACI Board of Directors by a majority vote. The honoree will receive the award during the 2021 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting in October.
Questions about the AACI Cancer Health Equity Award can be directed to Communications and External Relations Manager Emily Stimmel.
