Registration is now open for AACI's joint Hill Day with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), which will take place in Washington, DC, on Thursday, May 16. Your participation in Hill Day is critical to sharing our message with our legislators in Washington: that stable, predictable funds are needed to advance cancer research and care at our nation’s cancer centers.
AACI encourages each cancer center to send at least one representative to Washington to advocate on your center’s behalf. If you are unable to attend, a scientist, administrator, public relations staffer, government relations representative, or patient advocate who has benefited from care at your cancer center would be a great representative for your institution. All participants must be from an AACI member institution or a member of AACR. More details on the day's programming and scheduling meetings with Members of Congress are forthcoming.
AACI has reserved a room block at the Grand Hyatt Washington. Attendees are encouraged to reserve a hotel room at the time of registration. Please contact AACI Senior Government Relations Manager Jaren Love with any questions.
