Winn Career Development Award Applications Open

The Robert A. Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award Program (Winn Awards) is designed to increase diversity in clinical trials and transform the clinical research landscape. Applications for one of the Winn Awards' signature programs, the Winn Career Development Award (Winn CDA), are being accepted through Monday, May 13.
The Winn CDA is designed to support the career development of early-stage investigator physicians from diverse backgrounds and physicians who have demonstrated a commitment to increasing diversity in clinical research. The two-year program and $240,000 award is designed to help these physicians become independent clinical trial investigators who are engaged in advancing health equity through their research.
The Winn Awards are led by a team at VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and made possible by the support of several funding partners, including the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, Gilead Sciences, and Amgen.
