DEI Summit
In partnership with the American Cancer Society and the Cancer Center DEI Network, AACI will hold the 2024 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Summit on October 19-20 in conjunction with the 2024 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting. The DEI Summit will be held at the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk hotel.
This year, the summit will convene cancer center leaders, researchers, and administrators over two half-days. A reception will follow the summit.
The summit will include:

Discussion on how community outreach and engagement (COE), plans to enhance diversity (PED), and Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) departments are collaborating and navigating resources within their catchment area

Insights on how cancer centers are navigating policy changes related to DEI

Brainstorming session on leveraging institutional commitment to DEI initiatives
- Interactive breakout sessions on a variety of topics

Attendees may register for the 2024 DEI Summit only, the 2024 AACI/CCAF Meeting only, or both the DEI Summit and the annual meeting. A $99 discount will be given to participants who register for both the DEI Summit and the annual meeting.

The 2025 DEI Summit will feature discussions on leveraging institutional commitment, navigating DEI policy changes, data metrics and climate surveys, and how to work together to advocate for resources, both internally and externally. The 2-day event will be held in conjunction with the 2025 AACI/CCAF Annual Meeting.
